The Department of Economics and International Relations within the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEAA), "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University, Iasi, Romania is pleased to invite you to the First International Students and Young Researchers' Conference on Economics, International Business and Cross-Cultural Communication (EIBC), held online between the 13th and 14th of May, 2021. Given the current global context, the conference aims to promote the essential role of social sciences, of communication and cooperation in Europe and beyond. Undergraduate, graduate students and researchers specialising in Economics and Business, Public Administration, Foreign Languages, Law, Communication, Philosophy, as well as other areas are welcome to share their ideas regarding new, innovative ways of building a sustainable social, economic and political environment for future generations. The topics of the Conference include, but are not limited to: - Economics (Development Economics, Governance and Institutions, Public Policies Addressing Economic and Social Issues, Environmental Economics, Entrepreneurship, Current Issues in Knowledge Economy, Business Cycle and Economic Crises, Strategy and Competitiveness, Finance and Investments)

Conference languages: English/ Romanian The conference may prove highly relevant for Bachelor and Master level students interested in the fields of Economics, Business and Communication as well as to young researchers who wish to improve their knowledge, disseminate the results of their work, or acquire new skills. The whole event is meant to celebrate youth as a community, as a culture, as a whole and to shed light on the young researchers' work worldwide. We aim to do that by raising awareness, both among participants and the general public, of the importance of common values, mutual understanding and by building a network of young researchers willing to invest their efforts in both personal and community development. Presented papers will be published (free of charge) in the Conference Proceedings volume.
